Chads waterworks seems to be a great company. Their techs do clean and neat work and all of them care deeply about their clients and responsibilities. On the other hand, management seems to have issues. I was employed for two months and was let go due to "underperforming" and my choppy attendance. My attendance was the way it was due to my lung health and needing to go to doctor appointments to get xrays, blood drawn, etc... even after bringing in a note for every single absence, the company decided they did not want to keep me, even though I made sure I wasn't underperforming. As a guy with almost 5 years of experience, I was taking over technicians work, asking as many questions as possible to learn more. I was even trying to work with the office to make things better with my attendance i.e. working half days so i can still work before my appointment or working weekends to make up the days I missed. Regardless of all this. The company said I underperformed. Upon asking EVERYONE I rode with, my fields manager, and head of HR. All I was ever met with was a shrug and "you were just underperforming." This led me to think deeper on the issue, as i'd scan through my mind of my days at this company, I realize that there is now way I was underperforming. I cleaned out every techs van i was in each morning. I made shop runs for parts. I took over work for techs. Asked as many questions as i could. I was doing work ON MY OWN to help speed up jobs. Yet i was still "underperforming" I am 23 in a few days with a high work drive and a immense want to further my education in this field of work because plumbing is my career. Management at chads plumbing didnt care about me being sick. Chads plumbing slapped an "underperforming" label on my termination so they didn't seem bad for firing me because I had medical problems. Mind you I came to this company with experience in a different field of plumbing. I came here to learn. Even than, it didn't matter. You would think a company would be understanding in these matters. But from what I heard the company hasn't treated some employees the best. Its good to get work done by this company, but DO NOT work for them. They severely under pay techs who have more experience than I do. They keep hush hush about everything! And on top of that, upon being hired, HR stated the company as "weed friendly." This led to management and techs smoking blunts and joints in the parking lot every morning and techs hitting their THC vapes on the way to jobs. Even though they kept work nice and good and clean, this is a HUGE concern for safety. Again, work from them is really nice, but DONT work FOR them.
