Nice room, good water view..

Great location close to everything

Location is sub-par. It is not on the beach. You have to walk across a busy road to get to the beach, about a 5 minute walk. I noticed black hair when I checked into to my room, as if it was not cleaned properly. Also, do not go to pool or hot tub after 9pm, you will need to climb a gate to get back in from a parking garage. Hotel is trash. Do not stay here! I suggest Hyatt or Wyndham.

This new hotel is just a block from the beach. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The housekeeping comes every other day, so if you need towels or shampoo, be prepared to ask. The housekeeping is so good. Parking is across the street for a fee, but you really do not need a car at all. The beach is totally accessible with towels available to bring along. Walk north in the beach for less crowd. Pool and hot tub are convenient, with Marina view, but in the shade most of the day. You would pay nearly double to stay across the street. We would definitely come back, as it was great choice for our family if the to stay in a junior suite. We had a really nice view overlooking the marina. If you are dining nearby, go to Clear Sky, Tate's Beach grill, Sandbar restaurant at Opal Sands. Avoid the Toucan at all costs, as one of us got violently ill after eating the luke warm clam chowder there.

Awesome new hotel. We stayed after the Bucs game and arrived at the bright, clean lobby and was greeted by the worker who provided great customer service late at night. Explained all policies and got us going quick to our room. Checkout was a breeze as well, with the woman sincerely thanking us for staying and hoping we come back again. The room itself was large, bright and clean with a pool view and from the fifth floor, a view of the beach and town. Only improvement could be the heat/AC seemed to be a bit touchy. Still a great room. Right before checkout, we requested if we could keep our car in the garage after checkout as we wanted to head to the beach and eat downtown and it was no problem. We also asked if we could use the pool after checking out and they had no problem with that either. Excellent customer service all around. Great experience all around and we will likely be back in April.

Location is good, walkable to the beach and restaurants. Rooms are all new, however they were not finished well. Our bathroom floor tile was not fantastic and grout/plastic already coming up, door to bathroom did not close, there is no fan for the bathroom or shower area, air conditioner needed something weighted on it since it was not level and had quite a noise. Bed was extremely firm. Sad that there is no community coffee or water up front. At the time, price was great based on area.
